The family office is a multi disciplinary structure which provides all round consultancy for the management of family assets, offering a diversity of services: from consultancy in relation to financial services, to consultancy in relation to banking services, from inheritance advice to tax planning advice, from real property consultancy services with to issues relating to insurance and national insurance contributions and in relation to fine art assets.

There are family offices with their origins in the banking world and independent family offices.
